Installation and setup
Connect the base and install battery as shown below. After installation, place the hand-
set in the base to charge for 15 hours before use. You can keep the battery charged by
returning the handset to the base after each use.
Replace compartment cover.
Press tab to open
battery compartment.
Caution:
Use only supplied recharge-
able battery or AT&T replacement bat-
tery model 2420 (SKU 00578. Part
number 80-5542-00-00).
Insert supplied
battery.
Place handset in base to charge for 15 hours
before first use.
Plug long telephone line cord
into telephone jack.
Plug power cord
transformer into
electrical outlet.
