Send call to answering system
Using a cordless handset or the telephone base:

1. When the telephone starts ringing, and the screen displays

Screened call

pick up the call. If you have turned on the caller ID announce

and the caller’s name. After you pick up the call, the

telephone announces “

To answer the call, press 1. To answer

repeat these options, press *

to forward the call to the answering system.

Note: The call is forwarded to the answering system and the caller can leave a

message even if the answering system is off.
