Multiple handset use

Intercom

Use the intercom feature for conversations between 2 handsets. This
feature is only available if you have at least 2 system handsets.
Use a handset to initiate intercom calls and transfer calls.

Before the intercom call is answered, you can cancel it by pressing

If the called handset is not answered within 100 seconds, or if it is in the directory or caller ID

log, or is on a call, or is out of range, the calling handset shows

temporarily silences the intercom ringer.

You can only use one pair of handsets to make intercom calls at a time.

Answer an incoming call during an intercom call

If you receive an incoming outside call during an intercom call, there is a
2-beep call waiting tone.

To answer the call, press

. The intercom call ends

automatically. The party on the intercom call hears 4 beeps.

Other system
