Messages
Use the
Messages
app to send and receive text (SMS) and multimedia
(MMS) messages .
To access Messages, press the
Messages
key on the keypad or press
the
OK
key from the Home screen and select
Messages
from the
Apps Menu .
Sending a text (SMS) message
1 . From the Messages screen, press the
Left Menu
key to write a
new message .
2 . Enter the phone number of the recipient in the
To
field at the top of the
screen or press the
Right Menu
key to add a contact .
3 . Press down on the
Navigation
key to access the
Message
field and
type your message .
4 . Press the
Left Menu
key to send the message .
An SMS message of more than 145 characters will be sent as multiple
messages . Certain characters may count as 2 characters .
