Attach one of the spare ground wires from the top of the center bay to
the ground standoff (A) at the rear of the drive. See Figure 2-28.

Note

Some models are not equipped with ground wires.

Attach the edge connector at one end of the flat cable supplied in the
kit to the connector at the rear of the tape drive (B). This connector
will either be marked: “This Side Up, ” or have a key to prevent it from
being attached incorrectly. Attach it as specified.

Connect one of the unused 4-pin power connectors to the power
connector at the rear of the tape drive (C). This connector has a key to
prevent it from being attached incorrectly.
