The ATAK MP3 Player can be charged via the USB cable from your computer. The player must be fully
charged before first use. Once charged, the battery power meter on the display will be fully lit. In normal use,
the battery power meter will reduce until the battery is exhausted.
Once the battery power meter is empty and begins to flash, it is time to recharge the player. A complete charge
takes around three hours.
Loading digital media files
The ATAK digital portable player’s ‘plug and play’ functionality means it’s easy to load your favourite music,
movies, photos and other media files onto the player. Connected via USB to a PC equipped with Microsoft
Windows® 2000 or newer and the PLAYER appears as a ‘Removable Disk’ or ‘USB storage device’ in the ‘My
Computer’ menu allowing you to simply drag and drop or copy digital media files directly onto the player’s USB
drive.
Once connected to a computer this screen will appear –
When downloading digital media files to the PLAYER this screen will appear –
When uploading digital media files from the PLAYER this screen will appear –
The MP3 Players’ software automatically manages the files you load, so that when you power on the player,
media files are organized by file type (e.g. MP3 files appear in Music mode, JPEG files appear in Photo mode
etc.).
Each time you reconnect your MP3 Player to a computer, you can manage the files loaded onto the player by
removing or adding to the files via the ‘Removable Disk’ within the ‘My Computer’ menu on the computer’s
desktop.
