3.1 When to Configure the PCI-SC896
In most cases you should not need to change the default configuration of your
host adapter. You may decide to alter these default values if there is a conflict
between device settings, or if you need to optimize system performance.
The following tables list the configuration settings you can change. The global
settings effect your host adapter and all SCSI devices which are connected to
it. The device settings effect only individual SCSI devices.
