• Go to Setup > Firmware Setup to perform t�e firmware upgrade process.
• If you are still unable to update t�e firmware, reset t�e system and perform
t�e updating process again.
• T�e firmware update manual is available in PDF file (included in t�e
updated firmware folder). Visit t�e ASUS support site at
http://support.asus.com/
for more details.
• If t�e O!Play HD2 device is s�ut down or powered off during t�e software
installation, t�e update will fail. If t�e O!Play HD2 will not power on, you
will need to reset t�e device. T�is will restore t�e device back to its default
settings. T�e firmware update can be attempted again at t�is point.
Q6. I cannot connect to the wired network.
You need to select eit�er DHCP IP (AUTO) or FIX IP (MANUAL) as your setup
type. If you select DHCP IP (AUTO) , key in t�e DNS server’s IP address. T�e DNS
server automatically assigns an IP address for your media player.

Q7. Can I use NAS function when browsing movie, music, photo or
Internet Media Service?
No. You �ave to turn off NAS function w�en you are enjoying media. We
suggest t�at you use NAS function w�en you are not browsing any media.
Q8. Can I access other online media websites?
No. You can only access t�e online media services offered on your ASUS
O!Play HD2 Media Player. Please note t�at t�e content is constantly added and
updated. Visit t�e ASUS website for t�e latest information.
