11. USB 2.0 ports 1 and 2. These two 4-pin Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports are
available for connecting USB 2.0 devices.
12. External SATA port . This port connects to an external Serial ATA hard disk drive.
13. Optical S/PDIF Out port . This port connects an external audio output device via a
optical S/PDIF cable.

Refer to the audio configuration table below for the function of the audio ports in 2, 4, 6 or
8-channel configuration.
Ensure the audio device of sound playback is Realtek High Definition Audio (the name
may be different based on the OS). Go to Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio
Devices > Sound Playback to configure the setting.
DO NOT insert different connectors to the external SATA port.
14. Serial port. This 9-pin COM1 port is for pointing devices or other serial devices.
15. USB 2.0 ports 5 and 6. These two 4-pin Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports are
