2.7.1 Installing expansion cards
4. Select the slot that you intend to
use. Remove the screw securing
the metal bracket in place. Remove
the metal bracket and set aside.
To install an expansion card:
1. Before installing the expansion card, read the documentation that came with
the card and make the necessary hardware settings.
2. Follow the instructions in section 2.1 Chassis cover to remove the side
cover.
3. Lay the system on its side on a flat, stable surface.
Unplug the power cable before installing or removing an expansion card. Failure
to do so may cause severe damage to the motherboard and other system
components!
