b. Select the ASUS FTP site nearest you to avoid network traffic, or

Auto Select
then tap

c. From the FTP site, select the BIOS version that you wish to
download then tap
Next

Updating from a BIOS file
a. Select
Update BIOS from a file
, then tap
Next
.
b. Locate the BIOS file from the Open window, then tap
Open
.
4.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the updating
process.
Recovering your system
The bundled Recovery DVD assists you in reinstalling the operating system
and restoring it to its original working state.
WARNING
! All data will be lost during the recovery process.
Before recovering the system, ensure that you back up all your
data and take note of any customized settings such as the
network settings.
To recover your system:
1.
Connect an external optical disk drive to your EeeKeyboard PC’s USB
port.
2.
Turn on your EeeKeyboard PC.
3.
Insert the Recovery DVD into the external optical disk drive.
4.
Restart the system and press
<F8>
when the ASUS logo appears.
Select the external optical disk drive as the boot device.
