5. Open Print Engine Clamshell.
Moisten
Printhead nozzles using distilled water and a
wet, lint-free cloth. Wipe end to end. (
Gray strip
located below orange strip
.) Close and latch
Print Engine Clamshell.
CAUTION
HOLD ONTO BOTH LATCHES WHEN OPENING
AND CLOSING PRINTHEAD CLAMSHELL TO
PREVENT DAMAGE.
DO NOT ALLOW CLAMSHELL TO DROP OR SLAM
CLOSED.
TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO INK LINES, A STOP
LIMITS RAISING CLAMSHELL MORE THAN 60°.
