6.4. MAINTENANCE OF THE LIGHT
To draw out the light to the edge of the swimming pool, the trim ring should be removed with the help of a
screwdriver, through the four grooves on the trim ring
(fig. 28). Remove the four 4.8x16 screws (no. 22) (fig.
29) . Draw out the light to the edge of the swimming pool. Dismantle the light, removing the nuts (no. 15) which
secure the trim ring (no. 2) to the screen and flange set (no. 5) in order to gain access to the lamp (fig. 30) and
(fig. 31). Pull the lamp (no. 7) to separate it from the lamp holder (no. 13) and connect the new one (fig. 32).
VERY IMPORTANT: to change the lamp, always use the cardboard protector and never touch the new
lamp with bare hands. Assemble the light using a screwdriver in the opposite order to the procedure
described. Do not tighten the cable under any circumstances.
CAUTION
• The new lamp must have the same characteristics as the one supplied with the light, halogen 100 W 12
V.
•
To ensure complete watertightness, the seat of the light lens O-ring should be cleaned (no. 4) or
replaced if any notching or permanent deformities are observed.
6.5. PREPARING THE EQUIPMENT FOR WINTER
It is recommended that the equipment is prepared for winter or for a prolonged period when it is not in use. To
do this, follow these steps:
•
Place the pump switch in the OFF position (disconnection) (fig. 21) .
• Empty the filter, pump and water pipes.
CAUTION
• If the surface of the swimming pool freezes up, it is advisable to remove the front module from the swimming
pool to avoid damage.
7. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM REASONS SOLUTIONS
The equipment does not filter but it
recirculates the water.
The filter is operating without the cartridge.
Check that the filter cartridge is correctly
installed.
The equipment does not circulate the
water.
No electrical power.
Check the electrical connection and ensure that
electricity reaches the socket.
Motor protector is not properly adjusted.
Check the pump consumption and adjust the
motor protector on the control panel.
The equipment circulates only a little
water.
The cartridge is dirty Clean the filter cartridge.
Pre-filter of the pump or skimmer is blocked.
Clean the pump pre-filter or the skimmer
basket.
Air enters the suction pipe.
Check the condition of connectors and suction
pipe joins.
Water level of the swimming pool is
insufficient.
Fill the swimming pool until the water covers
half the hinged gate of the skimmer.
Incorrect voltage.
Check that the mains voltage matches the
voltage indicated on the motor’s rating plate.
Pressure drops in suction.
Check that there are no elements causing
abnormal pressure drops.
The pump does not prime. Air intake.
Check all pipe connections and the pump
cover. Fill the pre-filter of the water pump.
The housing fills with water. The drain of the box has not been installed.
Install a drain to remove water from the box.
The filtration module fills with water when
the pool is emptied. The pump drains and waste drains are
connected to one another.
Change the installation of the drains so that
each has its own drainage pipe.
The lamp does not light up.
No electrical supply. Check that it is properly connected.
The lamp has blown. Change the lamp.
Pneumatic switch is disconnected.
Check that the switch tube is correctly
connected.
CAUTION: before handling the light, ensure that NO voltage is connected. To do this, disconnect the
equipment from the electrical supply.
