BATHTUB EDGE SEALING
To perform sealing
a - Clean really well the edges of the bathtub
so that the area doesn’t have dust,
humidity or any other contaminant that
might compromise sealing
b - Protect with painter’s tape all the around
of the bathtub and the granite, or any
other finishing used. Keep a 3 to 5 mm of
free space, where the adhesive will be
used (picture 8)
c - Apply the adhesive on all the edges
(Picture 9)
d - Pass a small tool or even the finger on all
edges.
e - Immediately, carefully remove all painter’s
tape, before the adhesive is dry. (picture 10)
This way you will have an efficient sealing
and good finishing.
ATTENTION
Is extremely important that the sealing is
made between the edge of the bathtub and
the granite, porcelain, marble. Etc.
The lack of sealing will lead to infiltra�on
and damages to electric equipment and
masonry
The sealing must be done with neutral
silicone adhesive or a polyurethane based
adhesive (flexible sealing)
Under no circumstances, use grout to seal
the edge of the bathtub because this product
is cement base which doesn’t provide grip on
the polish part of the tub.
