While data is being exchanged the amber light will flash. It is important to not
unplug the device while the light is flashing as the action may damage the device or
possible data loss.

Unplugging the device will enter it into MUSIC mode (Halted State). The
green
light
will come on.
To remove the device from the USB port safely you must:
1. Short Press the MODE key. (Green light will come on and enter into MUSIC
mode).
2. Depending on the operating system you may need to click the ‘Remove Drive
Icon’ that pops up.
3. The device is now safe to remove from the USB port.
