Maintenance

RH/LH Air Filter Box-Renew

Removal

1. Raise vehicle on ramp.
2. Remove LH/RH front road wheel.
3. Remove LH/RH front wheel arch liner (see Workshop

Manual procedure 01.02.FB/01.02.GB Wheel Arch
Liner - Front - LH/RH - Renew).

4. Remove intake air filter box bolts (x3), disconnect

multiplug, remove box.

Installation

1. Install intake air filter box, secure bolts (x3), connect

multiplug.

2. Install LH/RH front wheel arch liner (see Workshop

Manual procedure 01.02.FB/01.02.GB Wheel Arch
Liner - Front - LH/RH - Renew).

3. Install LH/RH front road wheel.
4. Lower vehicle on ramp.

RH/LH Air Cleaner Filter-Renew

Removal

1. Raise vehicle on ramp.
2. Remove LH/RH front wheel.
3. Remove LH/RH wheel arch liner (see Workshop Manual

procedure 01.02.FB/01.02.GB Wheel Arch Liner - Front
- LH/RH - Renew).

4. Remove screws (x7), remove air intake filter cover.
5. Remove air filter element.

Installation

1. Clean air cleaner box and cover.
2. Install air filter element.
3. Install intake air filter cover, install and tighten screws

(x7).

4. Install LH/RH wheelarch liner (see Workshop Manual

procedure 01.02.FB/01.02.GB Wheel Arch Liner - Front
- LH/RH - Renew).

5. Install LH/RH front road wheel.
6. Lower vehicle on ramp.

RH/LH Mass Airflow Assembly Sensor-

Renew

Removal

1. Remove LH/RH intake air filter box (see Workshop

Manual procedure 03.12.AB/03.12.BB Air Filter Box
LH/RH Renew).

2. Remove screw securing mass airflow meter, release/

remove airflow meter from intake air filter box.

Installation

1. Clean mass airflow meter and mating face on air cleaner

box.

2. Install mass airflow meter to intake air filter box, install

and tighten screw.

3. Install LH/RH intake air filter box (see Workshop Manual

procedure 03.12.AB/03.12.BB Air Filter Box LH/RH
Renew).

RH/LH Mass Airflow Meter to Throttle

Body Flexible Duct-Renew

Removal

1. Raise vehicle on ramp.
2. Remove LH/RH Air filter box (see Workshop Manual

procedure 03.12.AB/03.12.BB Air Filter Box LH/RH
Renew).

3. Release clip securing LH/RH air duct to throttle body

duct.

4. Remove air duct.

Installation

1. Install LH/RH air duct to throttle body duct and secure

with clip.

2. Install LH/RH Air filter box (see Workshop Manual

procedure 03.12.AB/03.12.BB Air Filter Box LH/RH
Renew).

3. Lower vehicle on ramp.
