RESET BUT TON
: Red momentary contact switch used to reset the
instrument in case of a failure or to proceed to the next test. Also
serves as an abort signal to stop any test in progress.

: Green momentary contact switch used to start tests.

: Keys used to enter numeric data.

CONTINUIT Y OUTPUT TERMINAL
: Connection for the low current return
lead used for continuity testing.

RETURN OUTPUT TERMINAL
: Connector used to attach the black return
test lead to the instrument. This connection provides the return
current path for the high voltage.

POWER SWITCH
: Rocker style power switch with International
ON ( I ) and OFF (O) markings.

SOFT KEYS
: Multi-function parameter selection keys used to select
screens and change parameters.

EXIT KEY
: Key used to escape from parameter editing and returning to
prior screens.

ENTER KEY
: Key used to finalize parameter entries. The ENTER key
may also be used to scroll the highlighted area to different
parameters in the parameter setting screens.

HIGH VOLTAGE ON INDICATOR
: Flashing indicator to warn the
operator high voltage is present.

HIGH VOLTAGE OUTPUT TERMINAL
: Connector used to attach the red
high voltage test lead or adapter box high voltage lead to the
