Mounting instruction
Emergency exit device ASSA 179E-2
This mounting instruction is intended for installation of emergency exit device ASSA 179E-2
with ordering number: 364371 in combination with lock case Abloy EL580 with ordering
number EL580100011 or Abloy EL587 with ordering number 58718004.
Emergency exit device ASSA 179E-2 in combination with lock case Abloy EL580/EL587 are
approved for fire doors up to grade E/EI90.

ASSA 179E-2 must be installed together with ASSA strike plate 1887 with following
ordering numbers: 353355, 353356, 353357, 353358 and 353467 alternative Abloys strike
plate LP712. When using strike plate 1887 it is recommended to also use accessory 1893 with
ordering number 808287.
ASSA 179E-2 can be installed with round or oval cylinders with Scandinavian shape.

round cylinders.
