4.6.1  CPU Configuration

Intel Hyper Threading Technology

Intel Hyper Threading Technology allows multiple threads to run on each core, so that the 
overall performance on threaded software is improved.

Active CB0 Cores

Use this item to configure the active CB0 Cores (Physical Core).

CPU C States Support

Enable CPU C States Support for power saving. It is recommended to keep C3, C6 
and C7 all enabled for better power saving.

Processor Hot Modes

Use this item to configure the processor Hot Modes for CPU throttling. When 
a processor thermal sensor trips (either core), the PROCHOT# will be driven. If 
bi-directional is enabled, external agents can drive PROCHOT# to throttle the 
processor. 

CPU Thermal Throttling

Enable CPU internal thermal control mechanisms to keep the CPU from overheat-
ing.
