procedures below according to the OS you install.

2.15.1  Installing Windows

®

 XP / XP 64-bit Without RAID

If you want to install Windows

®

 XP / XP 64-bit OS on your SATA / SATA2 / SATA3 

HDDs without RAID, please follow the steps below.

STEP 1: Set Up UEFI.

A. Enter UEFI SETUP UTILITY        Advanced screen        Storage Configuration.
B. Set the option “SATA Mode Selection” to [IDE]. (For SATAII_1 to SATAII_2 ports.)
    Set the option “Marvell SATA Mode” to [IDE]. (For SATAIII_1 and SATAIII_2 ports.)

STEP 2: Install Windows

®

 XP / XP 64-bit OS on your system.
