Intel SpeedStep Technology
Intel SpeedStep technology is Intel’s new power saving technology. Processors can switch
between multiple frequencies and voltage points to enable power saving. he default value
is [Enabled]. Configuration options: [Enabled] and [Disabled]. If you install Windows®
Vista
TM
/ 7 / 8 and want to enable this function, please set this item to [Enabled]. his item
will be hidden if the current CPU does not support Intel(R) SpeedStep technology.
Intel Turbo Boost Technology
Use this item to enable or disable Intel Turbo Boost Technology. Turbo Boost allows
processor cores to run faster than marked frequency in speciic conditions. he default
value is [Enabled].
Long Duration Power Limit
Use this item to conigure long duration power limit in watts. When the limit is exceeded,
the CPU ratio will be lowered ater a period of time. A lower limit can protect the CPU and
save power, while a higher limit may improve performance.
Long Duration Maintained
Use this item to conigure time window which the long duration power is maintained.
Short Duration Power Limit
Use this item to conigure short duration power limit in watts. When the limit is exceeded,
the CPU ratio will be lowered immediately. A lower limit can protect the CPU and save
power, while a higher limit may improve performance.
Additional Turbo Voltage
Use this item to add voltage when CPU is in Turbo mode.
Active Processor Cores
Use this item to select the number of cores to enable in each processor package. he default
