RS-485 Connector:
This terminal block allows connect to a PTZ device.
Antenna Connector:
Available for Wireless model. To connect the included wireless
antenna.
SD Card Slot:
Insert a SD card if you want to do the event recording (Video
only) in the video server.
Digital I/O:
Digital In and Relay Out.
1. Connect the video and audio outputs of analog camera to the video server. If the
analog camera is a PTZ device, connect the RS-485 for the remote PTZ control.
2. Connect the cable of Digital I/O, Video output, and Audio output if you want to use
these functionalities.
3. Connect the wireless antenna for the Wireless model.
4. Connect Ethernet cable for network connection.
5. Connect power adapter to turn on the device.
6. If the device is PoE model, the power adapter is not necessary. The device will get the
power from the PoE injector or PoE switch.
PoE (Power over Ethernet) is a technology that integrates power into a standard LAN
infrastructure. It enables power to be provided to the network device, such as an IP
phone or a network camera, using the same cable as that used for network connection.
It eliminates the need for power outlets at the camera locations. Please follow the
below figure for the connection.
7. Set up the network configurations according to the network environment. For further
explanation, please refer to
Network Configuration
chapter.
8. After finish the configuration for the very first time, if you want to use wireless network,
plug out the Ethernet cable.
