Rangehood feature glossary
Some models come with a
timer function for delayed
switch-off. Activate the timer
to keep the rangehood running
for 15 minutes at the selected
power, after which it automatically switches
off. The function makes sure you rid the
kitchen of the very last remnants of cooking
fumes.

All models have a pleasant,
effective working light, whether
you choose one with halogen
or phosphorescent lighting.
ASKO has developed a cle-
ver way of circulating air. The
AirVent feature starts the rang-
ehood for 10 minutes every
hour. Great for apartments or
small spaces in which you wish
to circulate air.
A good rangehood can deal
with any fumes…and will tell
you when it needs cleaning.
However effective it is, it will
occasionally need cleaning, and
we’ve made it as easy as pos-
sible. You can put our aluminium filters in the
dishwasher. Certain models have a fat-filter
regulator, which indicates when it’s time to
clean the filter.

come with 3 flexible speed set-
tings designed for all types of
situations Think about when you
are simmering why use the hood on spped
3 when speed 1 will suffice.
Simply hold down speed set-
ting 3 for 2 seconds and the
canopy will intensify its suc-
tion. This will remain on for 10
minutes and then revert back
to speed 3 automatically. This is a good
feature when you would like to remove
excess cooking odour.
Our models have a capacity of
up to 650 m³/hour ,and deal
with a full 94% of fumes. The
power is balanced to provide
maximum effect, without remo-
ving all the fresh air from the
kitchen. In other words, higher power is not
necessarily better. The result being that you
can cook virtually anything you want, wit-
hout setting off the smoke alarm.
