Chapter 4 Web Configuration

DHCP lease time

: 

Specify the time that a network device can lease a private IP address before the ADSL Router
reassigning the IP address.

Default Gateway: 

You check the 

Report this host as the default gateway

 box to use this host as the default

gateway or fill in an IP address as the default gateway.

Domain Name Servers

: You can check the

 Report this host as the DNS server

 box to use this host as the default

DNS. Or you can uncheck the box and manually set up the DNS IP address in the

Primary/Secondary DNS IP address

 fields. The DNS server addresses will be passed to the

DHCP clients along with the IP addresses. The DHCP clients use the DNS to map a domain
name to its corresponding IP address and vice versa.
