Initial operation and settings
Turn the device on or off
Press the / A1 / button to turn on. Long press / A8 /
button turns off, automatic shutdown without operati -
on is 45s.
Delete button,
Press CLEAR / A8 / to cancel the last instruction or
clear the display. Pressing the memory button and the
CLEAR button at the same time clears all entries in
memory scan mode.
Position of the measuring reference edge
The corresponding reference edge of the tool is the
rear part. The leading edge and the trailing edge will
be selected as the measuring reference edges. When
you change the measuring reference edges, various
beeps alert you.
Press the / A7 / button, and set. After a restart, the
measuring reference edges return to the correspon -
ding reference edge (rear part).
Press / A9 / UNIT to change the distance units until
the desired units are displayed: m, in, ft, ft + in.
Measurement
Individual distance measurement
Press the / A1 / button to turn on the laser. Press it
again and the measurement will start.
The measured data is immediately displayed on the
screen.
Continuous measurement, the maximum / minimum
value is displayed
Continuous measurement may allow the user to me -
asure the max / min distance from a single measuring
point. For example, measuring the diagonal distance
(max value) of a room or the horizontal distance (min
value).
Press the / A1 / button without moving until an audible
signal appears, which means that the device switches
to continuous measurement, which laser traverses
a large area that is around the measurement target
(eg corner). Press the / A1 / button to stop continuous
measurement. The corresponding max / min values
and the last measured data are displayed on the main
screen.
After pressing the / A8 / button, the instrument auto -
matically exits the continuous measurement mode
after 1000 times the continuous measurement.
Plus / Minus function
Plus: Press / A4 / once, the plus number will light up
on the first line of the display. The next measured
value will be plus the previous value.
Minus: Press / A6 / once, a minus number will light
up on the first line of the display. The next measured
value will be minus the previous value.
After pressing the / 8 / button, the last step will be
canceled.
AREA functions
After pressing / A2 / once, the icon / 4 area / will
appear on the screen
Press / A1 / to perform the first distance measurement
(for example, length). Press the / A1 / button again to
move to the 2nd distance measurement (as width).
The area of the calculation result is displayed on the
main line of the screen. A very simple measurement
result is displayed on the 2nd or 3rd line.
VOLUME function
Press the / A2 / button 3 times and the / 4 -volume /
icon will appear on the screen.
Press / A1 / to perform the first distance measurement
(such as length). Press / A1 / to perform a second
distance measurement (such as width). Press / A1 /
to move to the third distance measurement (such as
height).
The volume measurement result is finally displayed
on the main screen, the previous 3x result is display -
ed on the first, second and third auxiliary lines.
Indirect measurement
This model allows measurements by automatic calcu -
lation according to Pythagorean law.
This feature was designed to measure where we can
reach.
Procedure: Press the / A3 / button once and the / 5 /
icon will appear on the screen.
Press the / A1 / key to obtain the first result of the be -
vel measurement. Press the / A1 / key again to obtain
the second edge measurement result. The Pythago -
rean measurement is performed automatically and
the result appears on the main part of the display.
Press the / A3 / button until the 2-triangle appears on
the display.
Briefly press / A1 / to get the first result of the bevel
measurement. Press / A1 / again to get the second
result of the edge measurement. Press / A1 / to get
the third result. The Pythagorean measurement is
performed automatically and the result appears on
the main part of the display.
Data memory / Data storage
Press / A5 / to enter the data storage function and
the data symbol will appear on the display. You can
gradually verify the last 20 data.

Maintenance
It is forbidden to put the device in water. Use a damp
and soft cloth to remove dust. Do not use erosive
solutions. Clean the surface of the optical part (inclu -
ding the laser beam and the signal-receiving lens)
