Display is working, but connection is not possible
Your phone may be locked. Unlock your phone (see "Locking / unlocking your phone").
The display reads: "System busy"
At the moment no connection can be set up via the current system base. The phone is trying to set up a
better radio connection with the same or a different system base. This message appears in standby mode
only.
The display reads: "No System"
You have moved out of the coverage area; the radio connection is interrupted. Move closer to a radio
station.
Insufficient display contrast
The setting for the display contrast is inadequate. Alter the setting in the configuration mode, see "Setting
the display contrast".
Impaired sound quality during hands-free operation
The sound quality can be affected if the volume is too loud – turn down the volume. If the sound quality
fluctuates, contact your system administrator.
Overload xx
You are either in a "coverage hole" or the system is overloaded. Simply alter your position slightly or the
way you are holding the phone. Or else contact your system administrator.
Leaving the coverage area
During a call: Shortly before you leave the coverage area, you will hear a warning signal. The system
constantly tries to re-establish the connection. Once the connection is restored, you will hear a continuous
ringing. Press the Call key to reconnect with your call partner.
Not during a call: If you leave the coverage area with your handset, an external caller will not obtain the
standby tone nor the busy tone if busy. Your system administrator can set up a call forwarding
unconditional or busy tone to cover such eventualities.
Note
For all other messages, faults and questions you may have, contact your system administrator.
