: Only users with extensive knowledge of TCP/IP and networking should

8.1 Advanced Router Setup 

The following features are available in the Advanced Router Setup section:

Copy MAC Address: 
This feature allows 
the user to clone a 
client Ethernet 
(MAC) address onto 
the router.  Refer to 
Chapter 7.5 for 
more information on 
this feature 

•

Factory Defaults: 
This feature resets 
all settings back to 
the original settings 
shipped with the router 

•

Restart Router: This feature reinitializes the router.  No settings are 
changed with this feature 

 

Note

: The DHCP client list will be erased. Clients must restart their com-

puters or renew their IP addresses in order to refresh the client list. 
 

•

Upgrade Firmware: This feature allows the user to upgrade the firmware 

•

Back-up Setting: This feature allows you to easily back up and restore your 
router configuration
