8.5.1
User device (e.g. camera) cable
You can connect your camera, filter wheel, etc. to the TCU by using the preinstalled USB cable coming out of the
cable inlet.
Figure 75 - USB cable for TCU
The other end of the cable is already connected to the TCU. If you need more then 1 USB connector, use a USB
HUB.
If you want to connect your camera etc. to a separate computer, you can lay this cable through the RA axis and
the pier. (red in the figure below)
8.5.2
24V cable for device hub (only for ASA telescopes)
ASA telescopes are equipped with a device hub. This is a distribution box where all telescope related devices,
such as focuser or mirror covers are connected. Connect the 24V cable that comes with the telescope to the
device hub and the 24V connector on the DDM200 RA axis. (light green in the figure below, connector nr. 3 in

8.5.3
USB cable for device hub (only for ASA telescopes)
The device hub has to be connected to the USB connector on the RA axis of the DDM200. This connects it to the
internal TCU. So all devices connected to the device hub can be controlled via the TCU. (yellow in the figure
