1.3.2 Device transport
When you have completed your work, close the engine fuel supply. Prior to each transport, let the device cool
down for at least 20 minutes.
It takes two persons to lift the device safely.
1. Loosen the plastic wing nut(

) by ca 7 rotations, so that the handlebar becomes loose in the holder.

Fold the handlebar forwards over the engine. Place a suitable soft pad under the handlebar crossbar (e.g. a piece of old
cloth).
3. Places where you can hold the device are marked in
by arrows.
4. When transporting by vehicle, secure the device against rolling, sliding, tilting, and fuel and oil leakage.
1.3.3 Engine Starting
First, carefully read the instructions
for the use of the engine! This way, you will prevent its potential
damage.

warms up to its operating temperature.
Do not leave the machine unattended!
When starting the engine, the control lever must be in the off position, it must not be pressed against the handles
(position

1.3.4 Activating the brush
Make sure that all persons, animals, children are at a safe distance from the machine! Otherwise, do not continue
in this activity!
Prior to each use of the device, check the tightening of the bolts fastening the brush and all screwed connections
of guards, covers and the engine!
Never start the brush, if it rests in the ground! Risk of abrupt movement of the machine to the right.
1. Start the engine
. Set the maximum engine speed using the accelerator lever. (If the engine is cold, leave it at the maximum
speed for ca 1 minute to warm up)
2. Take the left handle of the handlebars using your left hand (

).
3. Lift the brush by app. 1cm above the cleaned surface by a slight pressure on the left handle of the handlebar.
4. Use your right hand to lift the pulley control lever (

) upwards (

), until it is fully inserted in the strap with
cords.
5. Using your thumb depress the button of the safety as indicated by the arrow (position
3
).
6. Using your right hand fluently depress the control lever towards the handle. Hold the safety button until you start moving with the
strap using the lever.
7. When the brush starts turning press the lever completely to the handle (
4
) and hold it firmly.
Start-up usually results in some initial slippage of the V-belt and respective accompanying effects
(rattling, whistling). When the belt has been run in, these effects usually disappear.
Note:
In the case of a new or a cold engine, the engine may stall when the working tool drive is activated first few times. When the
engine has warmed up, this will no longer happen. If the engine does not start even when it is warm, check for any defects per
