AFTER USE
• Remove water tank and empty the water in it.
• Discharge the
remaining steam in
the generator as
much as possible
by pressing steam
switch.
• Set iron level to
minimum position.
• Turn off the device by pressing On/Off button (Light on buttons will go off).
• Unplug the iron.
• Place the cable in cable housing for easy storage.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The tank of the unit is equipped with a safety
valve to avoid over-pressure. During normal
operation, some steam/water discharges
from the steam release hole at the bottom of
the unit. This might happen even if the power
is swithed off.

CLEANING AND CARE
• Before cleaning the unit, ensure that the steam generator is unplugged
and that the sole plate and the iron rest have cooled down.
•
Do not use any cleaning or descaling products for cleaning the
soleplate or the boiler.
• Do not use abrasive and scratching objects on the soleplate when
cleaning. Avoid hard contact with metal objects.
• There may be some fabric deposits and other residues on the soleplate.
Those sticky residues can be removed with a damp thick cloth soaked in a
vinegar/water solution. Then wipe off the soleplate with a dry cloth.
•
Never hold the iron or the base unit under the tap.
• Do not place the iron on a metal rest as this could damage it.
• Place it on the iron rest on the base unit: it has non-slip pads and has
been designed to withstand high temperature.
• In order to carry out decalcification, your iron must not be used for at
least 2 hours and steam generator must be cooled.
• After making sure
that the steam
generator in the iron
is cool, remove the
water tank to remove
calcification in the
generator.
• Open
decalcification hole
by slowly turning the cover with screw on the right of the generator anti-
clockwise.
• Carry out this operation on the sink or on a towel as there might be
some water left in the generator.
Attention: If the generator does not cool completely, hot steam may
come out when the screw is turned. You need
to turn the screw slowly during this operation.
• Close the cover by screwing after cleaning
the calcification on the cover and inside the
hole. Press and hold reset button to end anti-
calc warning after plugging in your iron.
Note: Carry out decalcification after 10 usages for best results.
AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF FUNCTION
• When you do not press any button or switch
for 8 minutes (+/-1 minute) during ironing, your
iron will go into standby mode automatically.
• Press Reset button to restart.
• Steam generator can be used normally after
restart.
• Refill is only required when there is not enough water in the generator.
