SAVE CONFIGURATION
Syntax
save configuration
Parameters
None.
Description
This command saves your changes to the switch’s flash memory for
permanent storage.
Whenever you make a change to an operating parameter of the switch,
such as enter a new IP address or create a new VLAN, the change is
stored in temporary memory. It is lost the next time you reset the switch
or power cycle the unit.
To permanently save your changes, you must use this command. The
changes are saved to flash memory and retained even when the switch
is reset or powered off.
