Switch features
The features of the 8360 switches include:
• Combinations of QSFP28, SFP28, SFP+ and 10GBase-T ports.
◦
For a secure environment, all ports are disabled by default.
• Dual power supplies: Adding a second power supply provides redundant system power. If one of the
power supplies fails, the second power supply continues to provide the power necessary to keep the
switch running.
• Easy management of the switch through several available interfaces:
◦
Command line interface: A full featured, easy to use, VT-100 terminal interface for out-of-band
switch management.
◦
Web browser interface: An easy to use built-in graphical interface that can be accessed from
common web browsers.
• Support for up to 4094 IEEE 802.1Q-compliant VLANs so you can divide the attached end nodes into
logical groupings that fit your business needs.
• Support for many advanced features to enhance network performance: For a description, see the OS-CX
guides for your switch.
• Ability to update the switch software. To download product updates, go to the Aruba Support Portal.
