10.3.1. Seq / Arp toggle switch
To use the arpeggiator you must first set the Seq/Arp toggle switch to Arp. The Seq position
selects the sequencer, which is covered in a

10.3.2. Seq / Arp Mode encoder
Use the Seq/Arp Mode encoder to select one of the eight arpeggiator Modes: Up, Down,
Inclusive, Exclusive, Random, Order, Up x2, and Down x2.
The different Arp Modes are
in this chapter.

: It will be more obvious what the different Arp Modes do when you are holding down three or more
keys.
10.3.3. Transport section
Press the Play/Pause button, hold down some keys and the arpeggiator will start. You can
add up to 16 notes to an arpeggio; we'll show you how in the
section.
There is also a
for the arpeggiator. It allows you to start an arpeggio, take
your hands off the keys, and either add more notes to the arpeggio or tweak parameters
while the arpeggio is running.
Press the Play/Pause button again to pause the arpeggio pattern, and another time to
resume playback from where you stopped.
To start an arpeggio pattern from the beginning, press the Stop button. Then press Play
again and hold down some keys.

: In order to hear the Arpeggiator you must first press the Play button before holding down the
keys. The Arpeggiator will not play back any notes If you hold down the keys first and then press the
Play button.
