Important Safety
Instructions
When using this light box, always follow
basic safety precautions, including
the following:
1. Read and understand all
instructions before using.
2. Supervision is necessary when
used by or near children. Do not leave
unattended while in use.
3. Do not operate this equipment with a
damaged power cord or if the unit has
been dropped or otherwise damaged,
until a qualifi ed electrician has examined it.
4. If an extension cord is necessary, be
sure it has a suitable current rating.
Cords rated for less amperage than this
equipment may overheat. Be careful to
arrange the cord so that it will not be
tripped over or pulled.
5. Always unplug from the electrical
outlet when not in use. Disconnect by
grasping and pulling the adapter plug
from the outlet; never yank the cord to
disconnect the plug.
6. Do not immerse in water. If the unit
receives water damage, do not use until
inspected by a qualifi ed electrician.
Set Up & Operation
1. Remove light box from box and its
protective fabric sleeve. Always store
your LightPad in this sleeve to keep it
safe and scratch free.
2. Plug the cord into the LightPad and
an electrical outlet.
3. Flip the power switch located on the
upper right side of the light box.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Clean the acrylic surface and aluminum
sides with a soft cloth and nonabrasive
cleaner. Never apply cleaner directly onto
LightPad as it may seep inside the unit.
Product Warranty
All Artograph
®
LightPads are warranted
against all defects in material and
workmanship for one year from the date of
sale to the original purchaser. Any part of the
equipment which becomes defective under
normal installation and use will be repaired
or replaced by Artograph
®
without charge
for factory labor and materials, providing
the equipment is returned, shipping pre-
paid, to our factory within this period. All
returns require a RETURN AUTHORIZATION
NUMBER. Any product received without
authorization will be returned. Equipment
repaired or replaced under warranty will
be returned freight or postage prepaid.
The warranty for repaired or replacement
parts shall be for the duration of the original
warranty. This does not apply to equipment
which has been subjected to abuse, accident,
or alteration, nor to equipment which has
been improperly installed or wired in violation
of the printed instructions furnished.
