FRU Inventory

The ATCA-7540 implements two intelligent FRUs (IPMC and MMC).

Every FRU provides its own FRU information (serial, part, MAC addresses). FRU information is 
available depending on the presence of a module.

The MAC addresses of a FRU are stored within the multi-record area of the FRU information. 
Artesyn Embedded Technologies has defined a MAC address multi-record for this purpose. For 
details, see
