Disk selection in BIOS

1. Reboot the card, go to BIOS and perform the following steps:



Select

UEFI

mode



Select the installed disk as the first bootable drive, for iSCSI based disk and go to

Device manager

iSCSI configuration

(iSCSI initiator name and under attempt).

Make sure to provide the exact options which are provided during the installation. The
means,

initiator IQN

target IQN

target IP

target port

and

initiator interface



Save and exit

Manual Installation

You need to follow below steps for manual disk installation. This procedure needs manual
intervention to provide inputs.

6.2.4.2.1

Local disk installation

The following are the steps you need to perform for manual installation on a local disk.

1. Run the following command.

$ /opt/bladeservices/tools/flashrfsrc.sh

2. Select disk type for installation: enter

disk

Enter installation type (disk or iscsi) []

A list of available disks is displayed.

3. Select the device name by entering device name to install the file system.

For example,

sdc not /dev/sdc) []:

sda

4. Provide TFTP SERVER, use

local

, if images are mounted or copied onto host machine.
