CHAPTER 6
WARRANTY INFORMATION
LIMITED WARRANTY OF ARSIMED MEDICAL
SCOPE OF WARRANTY
Arsimed Medica l warrants to the original purchaser its products and components (except for components not
w a r ranted under " E xc l usions ") manufactured by Arsimed Medical to be free from defects in materia l and
workmanship under normal use and service. Ars im ed Medical's ob l igat i on under this warranty is limited to
the repa i r or r ep l ace m ent, at Ars i med Med i ca l' s opt i on , of the parts or the products the defects of which are
reported to Arsimed Medical within the app l icab l e warranty period and which, upon examination by Arsimed
Medical, prove to be defective.
APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD
The app l icab l e warranty period, measu r ed from the date of de l ivery to the or i gina l user, sha ll be two (2) years
for all warranted products and components.
EXC L USIONS
This warranty does not cover and Arsimed M edica l shall not be liable for the fo l l o w ing:
(1) repairs and rep l ace m ents because of misuse, abuse, neg l igence , alteration, accident, freight damage, or
tam-pering;
(2) products which are not i nsta l led , used, and prop e r l y c l eaned as described in Arsimed Med i ca l Manual for this
ap-plicable produc t.
(3) products considered to be of a cons u mab l e nature;
(4) accesso r ies or parts not manufactured by Ars i med Med i cal;
( 5 ) charges by anyone for adjustments, repa i rs , r eplace m ent parts, i nsta l l ation , or other work perfo r med
upon or in connection with such products which i s not express l y autho r i zed in writing in advance by Arsimed
Medical.
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
Arsimed M ed i ca l ' s only obl i gation under th i s warranty is the repa i r or rep l acement of defective parts. Arsimed
Medical shal l not be l i ab l e for any direct, special, i ndirect , i ncidenta l , exemp l ary , or consequent i a l damages or
delay, includ i ng , but not limited to, damages for loss of profits or l oss of use.
NO AUTHORIZA TION
No person or firm is authorized to create for A r simed M edica l any other ob l igat i on or l iabi l ity in connection
with the products.
THIS WARRANTY IS ARSIMED MEDICAL'S ONL Y WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL
OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
ARS I MED MED I CAL MAKES NO IMPLIED W ARRANT I ES OF ANY KIND
INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTAB I LITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PARTS.
