2.6 Troubleshooting
Possible problems TDA-500 and their solutions are given in Table 3.

No transmission to
loudspeakers

Check the connection of the power supply and signal cables.

Make sure that all terminal connections are securely fastened.

Increase the volume with the potentiometers «VOLUME».

If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer's
representatives.
Distortion of signal playback

Decrease the volume with the potentiometers «VOLUME».
−
Check the speaker connection.
−
Make sure that the total resistance of the load connected to
the TDA-500 corresponds to that specified in the TDA-500
product passport.

If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer's
representatives.
Overheating of TDA-500 (heat
dissipation above 80 ° С )
−
Disconnect the power supply to the TDA-500.
−
Contact the representatives of the manufacturer.
Indication «FAULT»
−
Check the speaker connection, no short circuit.

Signal playback is
