Instructions for Use, AquaVENT
®
FD140, Rev. 12
45
Note
In the first 60 seconds after a change of the flow value in the
therapy mode, all patient alarms and FiO
2
alarms are
deactivated. Please refer to chapter 6.1 Alarms for details.
Note
With patients dependent on a higher, defined FiO
2
, AquaVENT
®
FD140 with integrated paramagnetic oxygen sensor must be
used.
Note
Should the concentration of the oxygen gas supply be less than
100%, an additional field for input of the actual O
2
supply
concentration can be activated. This must be done by an
authorised service technician.
The concentration must be measured with a calibrated device
and then entered into the system. This ensures that the patient
receives the FiO
2
specified for the therapy.
5.5.4 Flow adjustment
The flow can be changed in the standby mode or during therapy by pressing
the corresponding field on the touch screen.
