6.1 Alarms
The alarm management system differentiates between different priorities:
Notice green background no audible signal
Low priority yellow background single audible signal
Medium priority red background
three consecutive beeps at 15-
second intervals and with
increasing volume
The alarm message is displayed in the lower part of the screen. An alarm
condition must be present for at least 2 seconds for the alarm message to
be displayed.
The AquaVENT
®
FD140 distinguishes between patient, device, and FiO
2
alarms.
Patient alarms:
Patient alarms include all alarms triggered by the patient. They can occur
only during therapy. At the start of therapy and after a change of the flow
value, all patient alarms except for 'P limit' are deactivated for 60 seconds.
