PROCEDURE:
REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. ASSISTANCE IS RECOMMENDED. CUTTING MAY
BE REQUIRED. INSTALLATION MAY INTERFERE WITH FRONT SENSORS. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR
VEHICLES WITH OPTIONAL "ACTIVE" LASER GUIDED CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEMS.
3.
Starting on the driver side, remove the (3) factory bumper mount bolts located on the outside of the
driver side bumper mount,

4.
Select the driver side Frame Bracket
.
Line up the (3) slots in the Mounting Bracket with the (3) bolt
locations for the factory bumper bracket. Attach the Frame Bracket to the bumper bracket with the (3)
factory bolts removed in
Step 1
,
(Figure

Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.

Repeat
Steps 1 & 2
for passenger side Frame Mounting Bracket installation.
6.
Next, open the hood and remove the plastic cover between the top of the radiator and the grille,
(Figure 8)
.
NOTE:
Pay close attention to the type and location of all factory hardware for easier
reinstallation.
1.
Start by Selecting your LED light
LED Light Install (If not installing LED lights, proceed to Step 3):
(Sold Separately)
mounting hardware & brackets, you will need to first
attached the hardware to the support flange, (Example of LED light attached Fig 1)
NOTE: if you have
your own LED light, LED Manufactures will have similar but different mounting styles or brackets,
once you determine you mounting options attach it to the support flange as seen in (Fig 4)
2.
With the LED light attached to the support flange select the (2) 8mm nut clips place each nut clip into
the slotted holes on either side of the support flange, as seen in
(Fig 5)
with the support flange prepare
you will need to lay the grill guard face down to install the support flange
NOTE:
(it is recommended to
lay out some of the cardboard your grill guard came in or a blanket to protect the grill guard finish).
place the grill guard face down with this done place the support flange with the LED attached into the
Center flange attach each side of the support flange to the inner brackets inside the center flange of the
grill guard with (2) 8mm hex bolts, (2) 8mm flat washers, & (2) 8mm lock washers as seen in
(Fig 6)
Snug but do not tighten at this time.
2015-on models
:
a.
Remove the inner plastic clip closest to the center grille emblem attaching the bottom of the
grille to the top of the cross member,
(Figure 10)
. Select (1) 2015-on Top Bracket,
(Figure 11)
.
b.
From behind the grille, insert the Bracket through the opening in the grille,
(Figure 12)
.
c.
Attach the Bracket to the cross member with (1) 8mm x 30mm Hex Bolt, (2) 8mm x 24mm x
2mm Flat Washers and (1) 8mm Nylon Lock Nut,
(Figure 12)
. Leave hardware loose.
d.
Repeat the previous Steps to install the 2015-on passenger side Top Bracket.
8.
Carefully unwrap the Grille Guard. With assistance, line up the bottom mounting tabs on the Grille
Guard with the (2) previously installed Frame Brackets. Bolt the Grille Guard to the outside of the
Brackets with the included (4) 12mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (8) 12mm Flat Washers, (4) 12mm Lock
Washers and (4) 12mm Hex Nuts,
(Figure 13)
. Do not tighten hardware at this time.
9.
Push the Grille Guard back toward the vehicle. Line up the Top Brackets with the appropriate mounting
points on the Grille Guard.
2015-on models
: Attach the outer end of the driver side Top Bracket to the bottom of the top tube on
the Grille Guard with (1) 6mm x 20mm Button Head Bolt, (1) 6mm Lock Washer and (1) 6mm Flat
Washer,

. Leave hardware loose at this time. Repeat this
Step
to attach the passenger
side Top Bracket to the Grille Guard.
10.
Level and adjust the Grille Guard properly and tighten all hardware.
IMPORTANT:
Do not over-tighten
the (2) 8mm Hex Bolts attaching the Top Mounting Brackets to the tab on the plastic grille and cross
member or you may damage the grille.
12.
Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
7.
Select the correct Top Bracket installation for your model/year.
