3. Place the hard disk carefully into the enclosure and close the
cover again.
4. Use the included cable to connect the enclosure with your
computer.
5. The enclosure is ready for use now.
The included cable allows transfer rates up to 5 Gibt/s.
In case of using one of the above descripted connections you can
realize transfer rates up to 5 Gibt/s (with USB 3.0) or up to 480
Mbit/s (with USB 2.0).
6. The hard disk will be shown in your OS now.
If you use a new unformated hard disk you have to format and
partition it first. Mount the hard disk as descriped above and start
the disk management of your computer.
In case you don´t know how to format and partition a hard disk,
please ask an expert to do it. Mistakes can cause damages or
non usability of the OS.

1. The enclosure isn´t shown in the file manager?
a) Is the USB cable connected?
Check if the cable is connected to enclosure and computer.
Pull out both ends and connect them again.
b) Is the hard disk formated und partitioned?
If you use a new unformated hard disk you have to format
and partition it first.
c) Is the used hard disk working?
