Operating instructions of the backup data
(an additional function of V2.3)
Description: before the software of the phone is updated, the phone book, EMS, communication
records, and some basic settings can be kept for a backup by means of the newly added backup
function, and after the software is updated, the data can be written in the phone again through
this function; however, if the software of
2049_04.11.00 M4 version below (not including M4)
and 2051_04.11.00M3 version below (not including M3 )
, is required to be upgraded to that of
2049_04.11.00M4 version (including M4) and 2051_04.11.00M3 version ( including M3)
above,
the
DBTEL Service center utility must be used, before the software is updated, to read the
IMEI code, because a lost IMEI code results from a changed address of the IMEI code at
the time of upgrade, and then the IMEI code is written in the phone after the software is
updated.
(1) Description of functions in the Backup menu:
1.
Select a model required to read/write.
2.
Select a connection port connected to the Download cable.
3.
Select “Read from the Phone” or “Write to the Phone”.
4.
Select a piece of data (Phone book EMS Call record Setup and the like), which is
required to read/write
5.
Select a path of data required to read/write.
6.
Click the icon to read/write.
7.
Click the icon to read the backup records in the .adb file selected in path 5.
