4. Initial use

Remove the kettle and the base plate out of the packaging and connect the base 

plate to a properly installed earthed socket. Wipe the surface of the kettle using 

a slightly dampened cloth. To remove any manufacturing residues, fill the water 

container once with cold water up to the maximum mark before using it for the 

first time. 

Boil the water by pressing the "ON/OFF 

" button. You will hear a beep and the 

kettle starts boiling the water. Then discard the water.
