For environmental reasons, the use of unleaded petrol is recommended.
The use of E10 fuels is not permitted.
Engine oil: Oil for 2-stroke engines
•
Caution:
Do not use four-stroke oils or two-stroke oils for water-cooled outboard engines as
well as ready-to-use mixtures from petrol stations.

•
Pay attention to an exact measurement of the oil quantity, since a small deviation of the oil
quantity has a strong effect on the mixing ratio when mixing small quantities of oil.
•
Do not change the mixing ratio, this will result in increases combustion residues, fuel
consumption increases and performance decreases, or the engine may be damaged.
•
Mix gasoline and oil in a clean, gasoline-approved and marked container with overfill
protection.
Procedure:
•
First fill in half of the gasoline to be mixed.
•
Then fill in the entire amount of oil.
•
Shake the mixture.
•
Fill in the rest of the fuel.
Note:
•
Fuels can only be stored to a limited extent as they age. Superimposed fuels and fuel
mixtures can lead to problems when starting. Mix only as much fuel as you consume in a
month. Store fuels dry and safely in approved and marked containers. Ensure that the fuel
tanks are kept out of the reach of children.
7.3 Refueling the leaf blower
•
First switch off the motor and let the unit cool down. Wear protective gloves and goggles!
•
Refuel the machine only outdoors or in adequately ventilated rooms.
•
Clean the area around the filling area. Dirt in the tank causes malfunctions.
•
Shake the tank with the fuel mixture again before refueling.
•
Carefully open the lock to relieve any excess pressure.
•
Carefully fill the mixture up to the lower edge of the filler neck.
•
Close the fuel filler cap again.
•
Make sure the fuel filler cap is tight.
•
Clean the fuel filler cap and its surroundings.
•
Check for leaks in the tank and fuel lines.
•
Before starting the engine, remove yourself adequately from the petrol station.
