1. INTRODUCTION
•
The TPIs 4T or TPIs 6T are logic input modules, extra narrow (7.2mm) desi-
gned for DIN rail mounting.
They are available in 6 models:
TPIs 4T 5V: 4 logic inputs of the type «logic 5V» insulated from one another
TPIs 4T 24V: 4 logic inputs of the type «logic 24V» insulated from one another
TPIs 4T CO: 4 logic inputs of the type «contact» or «NPN» insulated from one
another
TPIs 6T 5V: 6 logic inputs of the type «logic 5V» insulated from one another
TPIs 6T 24V: 6 logic inputs of the type «logic 24V» insulated from one another
TPIs 6T CO: 6 logic inputs of the type «contact» or «NPN» not insulated from
one another
•
These modules belong necessarily to a local network made up of converters
and/or output modules.
The status of the inputs of the module «logic inputs» as well as the result of a
logical calculation from these inputs can be associated with a converter or with
an output module to perform several functions (eg.: direct driving of a relay,
zero reset of alarm recording, etc.)
•
Each module is fixed on the DIN rail via a 5 points footing which allows the
communication and the supply of the TPIs of the network (24Vdc ±30%).
Up to 50 TPIs can be connected on the same bus and up to 200 different
measures can be made to transit ; In this configuration the maximum scanning
time is 200ms.
•
The programming is performed via the µUSB connector located on the front
face, which is to be connected to a computer of the type PC equipped with the
software SlimSet.
