First use.
Before the first use, clean the inside and outside of the appliance, the top cover and scoop as indicated in the
MAINTENANCE section.
Make sure the top cover (2) is firmly fitted to the body of the appliance before using it.
Place the appliance on a flat surface.
Make sure the switch is in the “OFF” position before plugging the appliance into a power socket.
Place the popcorn collection container under the cover opening.
Remove the scoop (1) and fill it with corn.
NB: one full scoop is sufficient each time. Using more than one full scoop may overfill the machine and prevent
it from working correctly.
Overloading the machine may cause the popcorn to burn at the bottom because it cannot be released.
Place the scoop of corn in the ready-positioned inner container (3) and put the scoop back under the cover.
Switch the machine on and wait about 40 seconds. Hot popcorn will start coming out of the hole and falling into
the
container. The popcorn will be ready in about 3 minutes.
When you have finished making popcorn, switch the machine off and pull out the plug.
Tip the appliance forwards to check that all the popcorn has come out.
WARNING
Do not remove the clear cover when the appliance is switched on. If you remove the clear cover while the
appliance is switched on, the operation will be halted and the user could risk harm from the hot air that is
released.
Do not use the appliance for more than one batch (about 3 minutes); switch the appliance off and let it cool for
about 10-12 minutes before making a new batch.
WARNING
Do not add other ingredients, such as oil, pastry fat, butter, margarine, salt or sugar to avoid causing damage.
Never add condiments or oil to the inner container. Remove the popcorn before adding any flavouring.
