• Fit the lock nut onto the end of the steering column.
• Using the closed end of the assembly tool, tighten the lock nut.

• Carefully turn the vehicle over.
• Fit the end of the steering column through the hole in the
steering linkage.

• Turn the vehicle upright.
• Insert and
“snap” the key into the hole in the dashboard.

DASH VIEW
• Position the steering wheel assembly so that the flat side of
the steering wheel is down.
• Fit the steering column down through the hole in the
dashboard and then out through the hole in the floor of
the vehicle.
Hint: You may need to turn the steering column to clear the
windshield and to fit it through both openings.
