WARNING:
1. Keep work area safe, clean and well lit.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating the tool.
2.
Use personal protective equipment
such as face shield, dust mask and suitable safety gloves.
3. Only use this tool on an angle grinder fitted with the original metal guard and auxiliary side handle.
Set metal guard at approximately 45 to the grinder body and fit disc so that it pulls away from user (see dia.A)
4. Always use two hands to operate the tool and ensure that workpiece is firmly secured.
5. Assembly instructions
(see dia.B).
WARNING: Ensure grinder is unplugged from power source before assembling or disassembling.
• Always use the grinder’s back flange (1) to center the blade.
The black spacer washers (2) can be used on top of the back flange
to raise the blade depending on spindle length. Ensure the blade is sitting flat and tighten using the lock nut (3). A white reduction
washer (5) is applied in some regions to be used on small grinders with a M10 Spindle.
WARNING: Ensure Locknut (3) is at least level or below the top of the spindle shaft thread (4) when tightened. Failure to
properly seat the blade / flange / lock nut could result in serious injuries.
6. Keep tool sharp and check for possible damage before every use.
Dia.C shows how the TURBO Plane can be sharpened using a flat diamond file.
WARNING: Do not use blade when damaged, excessively worn or blade thickness is less than 1.5mm after sharpening.
The TURBO Plane is ideal for freehand shaping, planing and trimming hard or soft timbers with excellent control. It
suits 100mm (4”) & 115mm (4 ½”) angle grinders
(Min rpm should be at least 9000rpm and Max rpm is 12000rpm).
