CD/DVD ROM Drive
BBS Priority
Sets the very 1st boot device among the available CD/DVD
drives.
*BBS means “BIOS Boot Specification”.
Hard Drive BBS
Priorities
Sets the very 1st boot device among the available storage
drives.
USB Device BBS
Priorities
Sets the very 1st boot device among the available USB
devices.
Launch PXE OpROM
policy
Controls whether to launch UEFI and Legacy PXE OpROM.
Options:
Do not touch [Default], Legacy Only
*PXE means “Preboot Execution Environment”, a series of
methods to get a typical Windows-based computer to boot
up without a hard drive or boot diskette.
4.6 Security
The
Security
menu sets up the administrator password. Once an administrator
password is set up, this BIOS Setup utility is limited to access and will ask for
the password each time any access is attempted.
Password Description
If ONLY the Administrator’s password is set,
then this only limits access to Setup and is
only asked for when entering Setup.
If ONLY the User’s password is set, then this
is a power on password and must be entered to
boot or enter Setup. In Setup the User will
have Administrator rights.
The password must be
in the following range:
Minimum length 3
Maximum length 20
Administrator Password
